Lovecraft Historical Society<\/a> is that they take Lovecraft&#8217;s oeuvre of eldritch horror and make it&#8230;whimsical.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of years ago they recorded the wonderful <i>A Very Scary Solstice<\/i>, with professional singers performing such marvelous tracks as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cthulhulives.org\/solsticecarol.html\">The Carol of the Old Ones<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cthulhulives.org\/solstice\/fish-menplayer.html\">It&#8217;s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Fish-Men<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And now they&#8217;ve released <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cthulhulives.org\/solstice\/\">An Even Scarier Solstice<\/a>, which is <em>even better<\/em>.  They&#8217;re offering <i>Blue Solstice<\/i> as a free download:<br \/>\n<embed src=\"http:\/\/www.shadowmanor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/bluesolstice.mp3\" type=\"audio\/mpeg3\" width=\"270\" height=\"58\" autoplay=\"false\" controller=\"true\" loop=\"false\" pluginspage=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/quicktime\/\" autostart=\"true\"><br \/>\nThere&#8217;s still some time before Christmas.
