(It does, however, have a pretty good recipe for the caramel itself, in case you&#8217;d rather use from-scratch instead of store-bought caramels.)  My guess is that they&#8217;re just dipped in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wilton.com\/store\/site\/product.cfm?sku=pg_candymelts\">candy melts<\/a> and then in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wilton.com\/store\/site\/product.cfm?id=3E316168-475A-BAC0-5953FF9B905B2EB5\">sprinkles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The initial search did turn up some other interesting ideas, including <a href=\"http:\/\/favim.com\/image\/43215\/\">these<\/a> aggressively-festive things, and <a href=\"http:\/\/weddingpartycenterpieces.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/jobber-import-articles\/photos\/128360-wedding-centerpiece-caramel-apple.jpg\">these<\/a> cute jack-o-lantern and spiderweb designs.  There are also some great ideas <a href=\"http:\/\/www.divinedinnerparty.com\/caramel-apple-recipe.html\">here<\/a> (photos are at the bottom of the page&#8211;I love the little ghosts).<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re feeling brave you could also coat them with <a href=\"http:\/\/eyecandey.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/11\/look-what-i-found-at-the-state-fair-mealworm-covered-caramel-apples\/\">dried mealworms<\/a>, and if you&#8217;re not-so-brave (or you want your friends to still like you), use the realistic-looking <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Realistic-Gummy-Earthworm-31-Pcs\/dp\/B005IDEN8O\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=shadmano-20&#038;qid=1350055720&#038;sr=8-1\">gummy earthworms<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n<p>Just for a bit of variety, these <a href=\"http:\/\/worldsbestcookingmenu.blogspot.com\/2009\/10\/caramel-apple-cupcakes-recipe.html\">caramel apple cupcakes<\/a> sound pretty tasty.
