Long ago, back in the Vinyl Age, records with accompanying storybooks (with audio cues to turn the pages) were hugely popular.  Disney released &#8220;The Story and Song from the Haunted Mansion&#8221; in 1969, and when I was a kid I played this record until the grooves wore down.<\/p>\n<p>This video is just a static image of the album cover instead of displaying the individual pages, but the whole soundtrack is here (bonus: The voice of the male teenager is a young Ron Howard).<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"239\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/LGXUlg3Uu1Y?version=3&amp;hl=en_US\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/LGXUlg3Uu1Y?version=3&amp;hl=en_US\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"425\" height=\"239\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Disney has also re-released the album on <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Story-Song-Haunted-Mansion-Disney\/dp\/B002M2N9HU\/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&#038;ie=UTF8&#038;tag=shadmano-20&#038;qid=1351867447&#038;sr=1-1\">CD<\/a>.  According to the description, &#8220;It is packaged in a Digipak with the original booklet of Collin Campbell&#8217;s illustrations and text.
