\"Carrots\"I’ve talked about plants that would work in a dark-and-spooky garden in the past (such as here<\/a>), but have tended to focus on non-edible plants. Goth Shopaholic just did a great post<\/a> about gothy vegetables, including purple potatoes and the carrots<\/a> pictured above.<\/p>\n

Black Carrots<\/a><\/p>\n

Purple String Beans<\/a><\/p>\n

Black Hungarian Peppers<\/a><\/p>\n

Purple Basil<\/a><\/p>\n

Black Currant<\/a><\/p>\n

Black Winter Melon<\/a> (the non-black bitter melon<\/a> family are neat too, since they all look weird and pissed off)<\/p>\n

Black Tomatoes<\/a> (she mentions Indigo Rose, but there are several other dark varieties)<\/p>\n

Japanese Black Pumpkin<\/a> (there’s also a warty<\/a> variety)<\/p>\n

Black Turtle Beans<\/a><\/p>\n
