Jason Day&#8217;s wife didn&#8217;t quite make the deadline, but her &#8220;Bunny the Vampire Slayer&#8221; diorama is too cute not to mention.  There&#8217;s a Flickr set <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/24733542@N07\/sets\/72157604133111500\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/\">BoingBoing<\/a> mentions a couple of other <a href=\"http:\/\/thedailycrosshatch.com\/2008\/03\/16\/comics-break-my-peeps\/\">gothy entries<\/a>, one involving the dire consequences of having a death-metal band playing a prom gig, and one based on Edward Gorey&#8217;s <I>Gashleycrumb Tinies<\/I>.<\/p>\n<p>I still have a soft spot in my heart for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marshmallowpeeps.org\/gallery99-2.html\">Xena, Warrior Peep<\/a>, though.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Chicago Tribune had a contest for Easter, the theme being dioramas featuring Peeps.
