It uses moss for the greenery and is housed in a hanging glass drop.  The shop also sells <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=27009271\">miniature headstones<\/a> and even a teeny little <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=26926342\">grim reaper<\/a> for your terrarium-decorating pleasure.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure how much the seller charges (the shop is temporarily closed), but it would be reasonably easy to do a DIY version inexpensively.<\/p>\n<p>Moss is easy to maintain (there are instructions for creating a moss terrarium <a href=\"http:\/\/maryjanefrances.blogspot.com\/2009\/03\/how-to-make-moss-terrarium.html\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/lifehacker.com\/5404522\/make-a-moss-terrarium-for-low+maintenance-greenery\">here<\/a>, and about a zillion other places on the Web), and it&#8217;s great for very small containers.  You could also try air plants (like those used in <a href=\"http:\/\/thehipsterho.me\/2010\/01\/how-to-make-a-tiny-terrarium-in-a-light-bulb\/\">this<\/a> terrarium-in-a-light-bulb tutorial) or miniature ferns.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the glass drop used here, you could also try laboratory flasks, canning jars, or even the big glass &#8220;decorate it yourself&#8221; ornaments sold at craft stores.  If you want a slightly larger container, brandy snifters, goldfish bowls, and lidded glass kitchen canisters are all possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Miniature headstones are available from some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dollhousestrainsandmore.com\/tombstones.html\">dollhouse suppliers<\/a>, although if you&#8217;re doing a particular teeny design it might be easier to make them yourself out of Sculpy or polymer clay.
