Cthulhu Damask – Nice, subtle tentacular design available as fabric, wallpaper, and gift wrap.

Pikachu – This sculpture by Den Chu depicts the next metamorphosis.

Cardboard Ghost Ship – Three guys created this ship in five days for a Treasure Island-themed Halloween party. I want to be invited to their parties.

Portents of Doom – Striking series of paintings from 16th-Century Bavaria depicting various apocalyptic events.

Blood Falls and Other Natural Oddities – Interesting roundup of unusual natural features around the world. The “bloody” glacier is particularly cool.

Guest Book Posters – Some really unique designs; I particularly like the Frankenstein/Bride one.

Monster Mind Sculpts – These are the most winsomely adorable little monsters that you will see all week. Puff the Steampunk Dragon is mind-blowingly cute.

Bat Hanger – I’ve seen other bat-shaped clothes hangers, but I really like the foldable design of these.

Museo Lara – Atlas Obscura article about a Spanish museum of witchcraft. The bullfrog with the human face would make a hell of a prop.

Our Lady of Lourdes – Dramatic short film (a Vimeo Staff Pick) in which a young woman tries to aid a mentally ill man but can’t see his demons.

Oh my Elder Gods, I love that wallpaper. I might just have to use it in my sewing room!

The Protestant viewer would have reflected on the greater significance of these wonders: Why are there dragons in the sky? Why does it rain blood? Why are there three suns overhead?

I’m concerned about the need for the viewer to be Protestant. What does the Catholic viewer reflect on…?

Also, that would be a brilliant coffee table book. “Ah, welcome, have a seat, can I get you something? ::wanders into kitchen::” “What’s…what’s this?” “Oh, you mean my book of apocalypses? Just a little something to amuse the children.”

I really want to go see lightening storms, now, in Venezuela!

OMGs, those bat-hangers are adorbs! Looks like they’re just concepts, which is unfortunate. That would be a really cute gifty for a gothy baby shower.

I’m much more a fan (as you might expect) of the batantula.
