Demotivational Amusements
I keep running into entertaining Demotivational posters* and since I’m not sure what else to do with ’em I figured I’d just stick them all in one big post and amuse you guys too.
*And I wonder how many younger readers have even encountered the motivational posters that these things parody; I haven’t seen one in years, but they used to infest every corporate office.
**I promise this is not one of those images where you stare at it for a few seconds and then it animates and becomes something scary; I hate those.

And then I saw it, and now I can’t un-see it. *shiver*

My boss’s boss had a number of motivational posters/figures in his office and when I got myself a Demotivators calendar one year, my boss froke out that I was taking work way too seriously. When she figured out what it was, she was my calendar’s biggest fan and would flip it for me if I was late doing so. What I love about them is that they’re subtly subversive…that used to be my style.

I have a bizarre number of people who find my blog searching for demotivational posters. I try not to think about it too much.

Nothing. However, if you let your eyes wander over to the left side of the picture….

Ohhhh… I wondered if that’s what it was. I guess the surprise didn’t work for me since it was the first thing I saw.
