Back to Lovecraft is an album of H.P. Lovecraft’s poetry, set to bluegrass music, by four Corsican artists. You guys, I couldn’t make this stuff up.

If only David E. Edwards had been involved. I’d buy it without hearing a note of it.
If you can’t hear the South in it, it’s not Southern; and if it isn’t creepy, it isn’t Lovecraft.

@rahnefan: I think many Southern things are inherently creepy, so maybe this is a really good combination…
You know, you probably could make it up, you’d just need a two really good lists of nouns: vampire, Lovecraft, zombies; bluegrass, picnic, breakfast. Then just mix-and-match!

don’t get me wrong, i’m saying the concept is not inherently bad, not as odd a combo as you might think; i just can’t hear “it” in the samples i heard. your mileage may vary.
