The Art of Darkness

The Link Dump of La Mancha

August 10th, 2012 by Cobwebs

Lace Cement Votive – Interesting DIY votive.

Murder – Short film wherein a scientist builds a cloning machine to try and get back his murdered twin brother. (Hat tip to xJane)

Dead Inside – Zombie novels have been done to death (:::rim shot:::) but the format of this one is intriguing.

Harold the Probably Disreputable Unicorn – Image made for The Bloggess. This is the sort of unicorn I would probably attract.

Monster Book Cover – Knitting pattern for an adorable multi-eyed, fanged, book cover.

Vampire Pumpkins and Watermelons – Discussion of a folk legend from the Balkans. I don’t know about you, but I am deeply taken with the notion of a vampire watermelon.

Gilbert Gottfried Reads Fifty Shades of Grey – The blockbuster novel gets the treatment it deserves.

Haunted Mansion Wedding – Most of the wedding photos are mainstream and unremarkable, but the cake is astounding.

Animals in Art – Animals photoshopped into fine art. The Ceiling Cat one makes me giggle.

You Chose Wrong – Tumblr devoted to “death” pages from the old Choose Your Own Adventure books.

    Gilbert Gottfried broke my brain.

    *blinks* Jesus.

I muddle between laughing and being so squicked out that I can’t even function.

    :) Thanks for that.

I love the Last Supper reactions!

I’ll see your Gilbert Godfried and raise you Ellen Degeneres.

Also, vampire fruit? Man, if all it took was leaving something out overnight on a full moon, I would already be a vampire (without teeth)!

  3. xJane Says:

Also, as I continue to contemplate the concept of fruit vampires without teeth, I think whoever came up with that legend has a serious misunderstanding of the concept of “vampire”.

  4. xJane Says:

Almost as much as Stephanie Meyer does.
