The ammonite skull is crazy! Insect poo tea made me laugh, the steampunk wings are amazing, and thanks for including the minis link!

In that little miniature scene of San Francisco, some of the bay windows have cereal box advertising on them, which is weird. I’m assuming the actual houses don’t have advertising across the front of them?
As for the skull, while they’re not all over the place like flies, ammonites are common enough that carving a few up to make jewellery isn’t really an issue.
LOVE that cocktail book, btw. It’s going on my list of books to buy once I’ve finished a few that I already own. So I should own it by about 2020 :P
