Planet of the Link Dumps
The Witches’ Frolic – Scans of a 19th-century book about witches. Some great artwork, perfect for collages and other crafts.
15 Lovecraftian Stories – A roundup of stories “to read once you’ve read all of Lovecraft.”
What if Jaws Was a Disney Movie? – This recut trailer takes liberties with the original material, but it’s still amusing.
Delta Green – Great resource for expanding the Call of Cthulhu RPG.
Make A Christmas Krampus – Too late for this year (and too late when originally published, since Krampus comes on Dec. 5th), but a fun project for next year.
I am Summoned – Odd little comic interlude by Jemma Salume.
8 Sensational Female Murderers from History – A roundup.
The Nervous Tick – Etsy shop specializing in cute(?) li’l tick-shaped brooches.
One Perfect Shot – Twitter account which showcases one perfect frame per movie. If nothing else, it’s an awesome source of Facebook banner images.
8 Miles Wide – Music video for Storm Large’s song. Lyrics NSFW. Caution: Earworm.

The Witches’ Frolic resonates. I’ve been scanning Book Traces (http://www.booktraces.org/)which is a crowd-sourced web project “aimed at identifying unique copies of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century books on library shelves”. I love reading what someone has written in the margins.

Pfft… EVERYONE knows your Elizabethan collar should be exactly as wide as the brim of your witch hat.

I love the giant neck ruffles that match the size of the witches’ hat brims. I almost wish that our society went with giant neck ruffles instead of pointy hats as “this is how you know what a witch is”.
Make your own Krampus!!! <3!
I feel like this is exactly how easy people who are against ouija boards think it is to summon Dark Lords. I can tell you that I have almost never accidentally summoned a Dark Lord.
I feel vaguely disappointed that I don’t have anyone in my life in need of a tick brooch.
This is my spirit animal.
