You Had Me at “Gothic Bellydance”
Gothla, a convention of which I was previously unaware, is devoted to the art of Gothic Bellydancing, a discipline of which I was definitely previously unaware. This routine was filmed at their recent 2009 gathering. It’s rather sweet.

Very German / silent screen. I hadn’t heard of this either, but it’s strangely similar to some of the images I paint. Good find!

omg, I caught them at the Edwardian Ball where they put on a piece that made them look like the FLDS housewives of DOOOOM! It was awesome and the creepiest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
I’d love to go see them live again!
