Pretty Link Dumps All in a Row

The Dark Crystal Trailer – Netflix is turning the movie into a series. Here’s a first look.

Victor Frankenstein Rant – A tweet of epicness.

Backyard Bat Hanging Sculptures – Pretty handmade copper garden decorations.

A Brief History of Goths – Interesting, short TED-Ed video which traces the word from ancient barbarians all the way through its use as a descriptor for a subculture. (Hat tip to Pixel Pixie)

Giblets the Anatomy Bunny – Cute plush bunny with removable organs.

The Medieval Agricultural Year – Interesting look at farming by the seasons.

Morbid Curiosity – Review of a cool-sounding trivia/discussion card game about death.

As Nice As Mice – Etsy shop specializing in li’l felt mice, including several dressed for Halloween. My favorite is “Mouseferatu.” (via Spooky Moon)

Ultima Online Massacre – This carefully-planned mass murder is both hilarious and infuriating.

Highly Evolved Bats – Really interesting discussion of bat anatomy and behavior in speculating how a “human” with bat ancestry instead of primate ancestry might look and behave.

That Highly Evolved Bats link was fascinating. I had no idea that bats were so intelligent or resourceful. Amazing.

I own the copper bat with the wings closed. It’s very cute, but surprisingly small.

Oh man I’m so glad you posted that Morbid Curiousity game. Last I looked it’d been funded but they weren’t sure they’d be offering it for sale outside of the kickstarter. Now their website says their shop is up and running and ships to Oz!
