A Fine and Pleasant Link Dump
Gothic Bedroom Decor – Some links and ideas for a medieval-esque goth bedroom.
Kabbalah Vodka – Russian vodka that riffs on the old belief that Jewish religious rites required the blood of infants…by including a hand-blown glass baby in the bottle. (Hat tip to Empress Pam)
Nightmares: Poems to Trouble Your Sleep – Scans from an out-of-print book of creepy poetry for children (the 70s were a weird time). There’s a sequel that’s still in print.
Funeral Gathering – I have no idea where this artwork came from, but I like it.
Mela Design – Goth and medieval wedding invitations.
Skull Book – A few nice face-paint skulls. I especially like the first one.
Three book suggestions from Kitten Herder:
The Undertaking – Meditations of a funeral director in a small town.
Bodies in Motion and at Rest – A collection of essays by the same author.
The Dead Beat – A look at obituaries and their writers.
Savage Chickens – This amused me.
p.s. – I just wanted to thank everybody who takes the time to send me links to neat stuff. I love getting suggestions from readers!

I love the illustration for the Ghoul!
Also, I have a friend who writes obituaries. I’ll have to point her at that book :)

Funeral Gathering was done by Laurie Lipton. She does a lot of wonderful work!

Am tempted as I contemplate the decor of the guest bedroom to do something gothy. So as to encourage visitors to wonder about my dark side and keep that in mind as they plan the number of nights to stay here
