Skelanimals Backpacks
Just in time for back-to-school shopping, the Skelanimals line of toys is offering backpacks.
At 12″ high they’re closer to oversize purses than functional backpacks, but you have to admit they’re mighty appealing. The packs are available as skeletal rabbits, cats, or bats.
I wish they’d had these when I was in grade school. I wouldn’t have had to work as hard to make my teachers vaguely nervous.

I haven’t quite gotten up the nerve to take one to work as yet. That could get fun. Wonder if we’ll hear any stories this year of kids who got sent home because their backpacks creeped their teachers out. :-)

These are adorable! And decently priced. I’m thinking my niece will be uber cute with one on her back. lol. She’d look like a goth cindy lou who!
